Warranty

Every battery sold by Battery Centre is backed by two layers of protection:

1. 30-Day Exchange Guarantee: If anything is wrong with your battery within 30 days of delivery, we'll make it right with a free replacement or a full refund of the product purchase price.

Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and original shipping fees are non-refundable.

2. Manufacturer Warranty: Most products are additionally covered by the manufacturer's limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship: 12 months for Li-ion batteries and 6 months for Ni-MH / Ni-Cd batteries, from the date of purchase.

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of the battery itself under normal consumer use. If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, we will, at our option, replace the battery with the same model (or a functionally equivalent model) free of charge.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

● Physical Damage: Drops, impacts, cracks, punctures, bent connectors, water or liquid damage, or damage caused by exposure to extreme heat or fire.

● Misuse or Improper Installation: Use in a device the battery is not designed for, incorrect polarity, forced installation, use of an incompatible or damaged charger.

● Modification or Tampering: Any attempt to open, repair, modify or disassemble the battery, or removal/tampering with the product label (the label is the warranty seal; it reads "warranty void if label is removed" on many of our products)

● Improper Charging: Including charging beyond specified voltage limits or using non-compliant charging equipment.

● Cosmetic Imperfections: Minor surface or appearance imperfections that do not affect overall functionality.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BATTERY CENTRE MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. BATTERY CENTRE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGE TO DEVICES OR LOSS OF USE, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE A PRODUCT.

Some states (including California) do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state (pursuant to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 2301 et seq.).

BATTERY SAFETY & RECYCLING INSTRUCTIONS

● Use Approved Accessories: Always use the charger specified for your specific device.

● Prohibited Actions: Never disassemble, crush, short-circuit, puncture, or incinerate a battery.

● Safe Storage: Keep batteries safely away from children, direct heat, flammable sources, and water.

● Emergency & Disposal: If a battery is swollen, excessively hot, or visibly damaged, stop using it immediately and contact us at info@batterycentre.com for safe disposal and recycling instructions.
